It is 1480 and Hero has been wandering Western Europe for as long as she can remember. After all her years of travel, she finally decides to hang up her hat in St. Gilles, a quiet Catholic community seemingly cut off from the rest of the world.


Hero soon learns that she’s in for more than she bargained for as the locals aren’t too thrilled to share their secrets. Before long, Hero learns that several strangers are all hot on her trail. Some want to help her. Some want to kill her. Who’s friend and who’s foe? She better figure this out quickly as she learns that the mysterious town and its inhabitants are tied in more closely to her own history than she ever imagined.
