Reclusive and stoic, High Priest Anatole is the epitome of a proper clergyman. He believes in keeping St. Gilles free of sin and while not aggressive towards them, he denies the local Forsaken population access to the cathedral under the assumption that they are little more than a personification of temptation and all that exists to denounce the existance of God. When not working towards the betterment of his cathedral and the community, Anatole tends to Victor, a Forsaken child he has taken under his wing. While uncertain of Hero's devious behaviour, he is surprisingly tolerant of her, an uncanny tendency considering his typical xenophobia.
